Cindy Motter is delighted to join the Gathering Waters community. She brings more than 30 years of experience in education, having served as an elementary teacher, school counselor, and most recently an elementary principal. Her work has taken her through urban, suburban, and rural schools across Pennsylvania and Southern Vermont, where she has had the privilege of walking alongside children, teachers, and families from diverse backgrounds.
Cindy holds degrees in Elementary Education, School Counseling, and Educational Leadership. She is passionate about nurturing each child's confidence, curiosity, and love of learning while partnering with teachers and families to support the whole child.
Outside of school, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and exploring new places. Together, Cindy and her husband have seven children. Their six grown children live across Canada, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. At home, life is brightened by their youngest daughter, Piper, whose adventurous spirit and joyful curiosity keep them smiling.
