Ann is an experienced project manager, educator, facilitator, scrum master and occasional Mama bear. A passionate believer that different learners need different modalities, she has championed multi-age, multi-generational educational opportunities for students through hands-on learning.
Ann was President of a small school and is proudest of the creative ways she found to support faculty. In addition to her experience in education, she has operated her own business, worked in the New York film business, thrived at a software startup in the glorious 90s, was a Program Manager in publishing, led IT support teams, provided institutional training and even had a brief stint in Ephemera.
This eclectic history has opened the world for the native Vermonter and taught her that iterative design can be applied to all aspects of one’s life. Ann’s special talent is the insightful way she observes students in order to determine what will help inspire them to take learning risks. Ann loves her children, cooking and garden design.
