Job Title: Games and Nature Teacher

Reports to: School Principal
Position Summary
The Games and Nature Teacher is responsible for ensuring required PE classes for our elementary students. They will collaborate with Class Teachers to bring movement, games, circus, and outdoor experiences for grades 1 - 5 at the Lower School. Ideal candidates have solid prior experience in a similar role, possess a strong interest in Waldorf education, a multi-disciplinary background, and are committed to serving a diverse population of learners. All full-time positions are expected to deepen their understanding of child development based on the Principles of Public Waldorf Education through continued professional development.
Specific Responsibilities
Coordinate and lead Lower School Games & Movement and Nature classes
Oversee the 5th grade Olympics/Pentathlon program
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of teaching experience preferred
Waldorf teacher training, Spatial Dynamics® training, Bothmer Gymnastics training, and/or Waldorf teaching experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in education or related field
NH teaching credential encouraged
Compensation
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, $43,000–$58,000. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and professional development funding.
