Originally from the high desert of New Mexico, Margit has built her life and career around working with children and supporting their growth. Over the years, she has taught in a wide range of educational settings, including several years as a Waldorf Early Childhood Educator and as an English Language Learner teacher in a rural Indonesian high school with the Peace Corps. Margit is passionate about supporting children of diverse backgrounds and ages. She holds a Master’s in Elementary Education and a certificate in Waldorf Education from Antioch University, and she is also a state-certified English Language Learner teacher.
Margit is drawn to Waldorf education for its deep respect for children and their development, its interdisciplinary approach to learning, and its emphasis on nurturing the whole human being. She now makes her home in the Monadnock Region, where she enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga, reading, and being with her husband and son.
