Laura Beatty
Handwork Teacher
Laura’s love for young children and desire to be an educator was evident from an early age, but it wasn’t until after completing her undergraduate studies in Classical Civilizations and English that Laura discovered Waldorf Education. From that point, she renewed her dream to become a teacher and received her Waldorf Teacher training certificate through Antioch University.
She has been a class teacher at the Waldorf School of Princeton, and taught in Early Childhood classes at The Garland School, Monadnock Waldorf School, and Sophia’s Hearth. Laura was also the Program Director for Joyful Beginnings, the parent support program at Sophia’s Hearth and served on the founding board and as the Office Manager at Spring Hill Children’s Center.
In moments of free time, Laura enjoys reading, relaxing, and doing handwork of all kinds!
