Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Reports to: School Principal
Position Type: Full-time with part-time option

Position Purpose & Scope

We seek a candidate to round out our special education team. This position operates similar to a resource room setting with ample room for individual teaching style and program development. Ideal candidates possess a strong interest in Waldorf education, experience in developing behavior support plans, and a commitment to serving a diverse population of students.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

This position also includes case management and working with class teachers to understand how to best serve students. This role provides an inspiring opportunity to weave together best practices in special education with Waldorf-based educational support. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • NH Special Education certification (or transferable state certification) is required

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field

  • Case management experience

  • Minimum of two years experience with special education

  • Interest in the Waldorf pedagogy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of teaching experience preferred

  • Waldorf teacher training and/or Waldorf teaching experience encouraged

Compensation

  • Salary range $48K - $60K,  commensurate with experience, or FTE
