Sarah's background includes over 20 years of organic farming, including running her own cut-flower farm and floral design business, as well as a many-year career at the WS Badger Company, where she filled roles in Administration, HR, Marketing, and Quality Assurance.
Sarah loves that Waldorf education places a special emphasis on rhythm, season, beauty, nature and art. After over a decade as a parent of students at MWS and Gathering Waters, she is thrilled to combine her experience with Waldorf education and culture, administration and organization, and her passion for the beauty of the natural world to support the lower school in its daily operations. She enjoys being a caring, friendly face (or voice) for parents, students and faculty alike, and staying busy and helping wherever she can!
