Kim McCormick (she/her)
High School Math and Science Teacher

An educator for more than 30 years, Kim holds a B.S. in Environmental Education from Cornell University and a Masters in Environmental Science and Teaching from Antioch University New England. She completed her Waldorf high school teacher training with the Center for Anthroposophy. Kim has worked in public schools in Virginia and New Hampshire as a classroom teacher, gifted resource teacher, and district science curriculum specialist, and as a Waldorf high school science and math teacher. She is excited to bring together the best practices of public and Waldorf schools, and to help make a Waldorf education accessible to a wider community. Kim lives on a dirt road in Marlow with her partner, two German Shepherds, and a pair of tolerant cats. Her two daughters are Waldorf “lifers”, having experienced the full curriculum from early childhood through grade twelve. Outside of school Kim can be found pursuing many interests, including gardening, writing, exploring the flora and fauna around her home, and playing in the snow with her dogs.
