Gathering Waters is committed to helping students find their path after graduation. While every student will be unique, the documents below can provide a framework for navigating this exciting time of new beginnings.

Service is an integral component of Waldorf education and is essential for students to enter into new relationships with their community. Gathering Waters high school students must complete service hours each year.
Community Service Requirements by Grade
9th Grade: takes part in class community service projects throughout the year
10th Grade: minimum of 5 hours completed by June 1
11th Grade: minimum of 10 hours completed by June 1
12th Grade: minimum of 20 hours completed by June 1
How to Report Service Hours
A site supervisor or parent/guardian may report a student’s completed hours to Mr. Lemme via email. (joe.lemme@gatheringwaterscharter.org). A paper form documenting hours is not necessary.
