We believe every child deserves an enriching Waldorf education.

As a chartered public school, Gathering Waters is open to all and tuition-free. However, state and federal funding cover only about 91% of our cost-to-educate, and the other 9% is up to us! Annually, Gathering Waters must raise at least $325,000—that's $1,000 per student at a full enrollment of 325—to ensure the continued delivery of a robust, publicly accessible K–12 Waldorf education for the Monadnock region. We depend on financial support from our enrolled families and extended community. Thank you for investing in us!

FOR OUR ENROLLED FAMILIES

Ensure a Fully Funded Waldorf Education for Your Student

Every August, we ask that all enrolled families set up a monthly or one-time contribution toward each of their student’s $1,000 funding gap for the upcoming school year. We offer an income-based sliding scale as a guideline for how we can work together to financially support our classmates, faculty and facilities.

We recognize that our families experience a wide range of financial circumstances. Even the smallest donation can be a big gesture, and all donations positively impact our 100% participation rate goal!

Thank you for your investment in our school!

FOR OUR COMMUNITY, FRIENDS & FAMILY

Make a Gift Toward Community Supported Public Waldorf Education

In just four years as a new chartered public school, Gathering Waters has grown from a bold vision into a thriving school community where students are known and inspired every day. We proudly serve over 140 families across grades K–12. The Class of 2025, our first graduating seniors, earned over 45 college acceptances and secured more than $672,000 in scholarships.

Our curriculum provides a rich and engaging academic experience that integrates the arts, meaningful practical work, outdoor education and service to the local and global community. We depend on the generosity of like-minded supporters who are willing to invest in accessible Waldorf education for the students of the Monadnock region.

Thank you for your support of this mission!

IN-KIND DONATIONS

Materials & Skills Provide On-the-Ground Support

Donations of books, art supplies, and especially your time as a volunteer can be just as powerful as monetary gifts. If you have an in-kind donation you would like us to consider, or are interested in serving on the Board of Trustees, please contact contact our Development Manager, Damaris Graham.

Hear from our parents.

In this short video, some of our parents share what they love most about our school community—and why they choose to give.

“We give to Gathering Waters because we can't afford not to... when I think about what our family gets from being a part of this school community, it's comparable to a private Waldorf education which would typically cost more than $20,000 per year.”

— Mark, Parent of 2 Gathering Waters Students

“"We need to come together as a community in whatever way possible, whether it's through volunteering your time or extending your financial resources. The kids coming out of these programs are the kind of creative problem solvers that are going to help our world move forward.”

— Hannah, Parent of 3 Gathering Waters Students

“It is such a gift to have a free option for this type of school— this would have been completely inaccessible to our family had it not been for the public aspect.”

— Caitlin, Parent of 2 Gathering Waters Students

Every gift, no matter how big or small, moves us one step closer to fulfilling our mission of providing an exceptional and accessible Waldorf education for the Monadnock region.

Gathering Waters is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations may be tax deductible. For questions or additional information on ways to support our school, we welcome you to reach out!
