Annette Kimball

Annette Kimball (she/they)
Fifth Grade Teacher

Originally from Long Island, New York, Annette has worked in education and Waldorf circles in different capacities for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelors in Educational Theatre from New York University with a Minor in Psychology. She has also studied music/voice and special education at the college level.

Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education began weaving themselves into Annette’s love of teaching from the beginning of her career and have informed her journey every step of the way. Annette has worked at Garden City Waldorf School and Monadnock Waldorf School as well as having several years experience teaching and directing K-8 Drama & Theatre Arts in the New York theater community. In recent years, “Ms. Annette” sang through the day with our Kindergarten class but she has been thrilled to move “up stairs” to lead our fifth grade as “Ms. Kimball”.

Annette has three children of her own whom she homeschooled for a time, and that experience fostered a deeper understanding of Waldorf curriculum and this truly holistic approach to learning. In her spare time, Annette enjoys exploring local cuisine, studying medicinal plants, experiencing music, and communing with the natural world.
