Lower School Spanish Teacher
Tina is very excited for a second year of teaching at Gathering Waters as the Lower School Spanish Teacher. She holds a M.Ed. from Bank Street College of Education in New York City and has taught in public, private, and charter schools in New York and Hawaii. Tina was introduced to Waldorf education while homeschooling her own children and came to deeply appreciate the pedagogy and philosophy. She moved with her family to Keene five years ago, where she taught at Monadnock Waldorf School in the Early Childhood and Grades programs. She strives to foster a sense of joy, wonder, and creativity in her classes. Tina loves to garden, explore the natural wonders of New England with her family and dance hula in her free time.
