Eighth Grade Teacher
Perin Ellsworth-Osanya is a Waldorf teacher through and through. He went to Waldorf school as a child, and was inspired by his teachers to pursue a career in Waldorf education. He has a BA in Philosophy from Antioch College in Ohio, and has completed many internships and programs centered around Waldorf teaching. Perin started his career as an Aftercare teacher at the former Monadnock Waldorf School in Keene, after which he went on to teach for five years in Minnesota. Perin loves telling stories and using them to help students internalize and remember information. He believes giving young people the tools to be happy, engaged and confident to be themselves is one of the most powerful ways to change the world.
Perin loves to go on walks in the forest and forage with his family. He plays music for contra dances and bakes sourdough bread. Perin lives with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
