Born in Russia, Margarita attended Moscow State University where she got a Masters degree in Math. She received a Masters in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University after moving to the United States. Margarita worked in the financial industry for 13 years. She studied Waldorf education at Rudolf Steiner College, and has taught at the Sacramento Waldorf School and the Chicago Waldorf School. When she is not working, Margarita enjoys hiking and foraging for wild food and medicinal herbs. She lives with her husband, their two daughters, and a parakeet.
