Liza's brings with her a belief in the importance of relationships and community and a deep interest in collaboration, which all extend to the culture of her classroom. Liza's curiosity leads her to be genuinely interested in her students and propels her to be a lifelong learner, all of which inform Liza as she works to provide engaging, joyful learning experiences along side purposeful work for children.
Liza believes that part of her work as an educator is to support children in discovering their talents and realizing their unique genius and inherent strengths. She has always enjoyed supporting children in their discoveries of the natural world and offering them opportunities to connect to themselves, others, and the land. She truly believes that each child is unique and therefore their education cannot come from a mold.
