Julie Ludvigsen has been teaching at Waldorf and other independent schools for the past 18 years. She received her certificate for Waldorf Teacher Training from the Micha-el Institute in Portland, Oregon, her MA-TESOL from St. Michael's College, Vermont, and her BS in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University. Julie was brought to Waldorf education after seeking an alternative while teaching in the Chicago public school system. She values Waldorf education because it focuses on the relationships between all humans, and brings music, movement, and art into every lesson. Julie relocated to Keene in the summer of 2020 with her two children and two kittens. She loves living in a small town where she can walk to school and town, and is surrounded by the natural beauty of the lakes and mountains. In her free time, Julie enjoys hiking with her puppy, swimming, reading, knitting, and following her children's sporting activities.
