The Art of Needle Felting
Needle felting is a fiber art technique that uses barbed needles to interlock and compress wool fibers. When creating a needle felted tapestry, the artist layers dyed wool onto a base surface to paint with the fibers. The result is a richly textured textile artwork that blends the softness of felt with the depth of traditional tapestry.
