Dance and Movement Teacher
Zoe has been dancing since she was a child. She started teaching dance in a studio setting during high school. She went on to get a BFA in Modern Dance from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a MA in Dance Education from Hunter College. Zoe lived in NYC for some time working as a freelance artist, but found that teaching dance in a classroom was more fulfilling than the stage. She discovered that she loves sharing dance with students teaching them how movement can build a sense of community and confidence. Zoe lives with her mom, her mom’s partner, and her seven year old cousin. They have lots of goats, chickens, dogs, and other furry creatures. She enjoys restoring antique furniture, swimming and outdoor napping.
