Lower School Handwork Teacher
Nicole teaches Handwork to grades one through five, and is excited to begin a Gardening Program for children in grades one through three. She has been involved in, and dedicated to Waldorf Education since 2001. Her now adult sons attended a Waldorf School in Massachusetts, from Early Childhood through grade 12th. During that time she worked in EC, the grades, ran the school store, and taught Handwork. She has her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking and has completed the four year Applied Arts Program, a Waldorf teacher training at The Fiber Craft Studio in New York. After her youngest son graduated, she spent a year in San Diego teaching Handwork at her first Charter Waldorf School. Nicole currently lives in Massachusetts. Since 2012, she has been the owner of Heavenly Hues, in which she plant-dyes wool yarn and felt. She is drawn toward Beauty, Truth, Freedom, and the Healing powers of Water.
