Matthew grew up attending The Green Meadow Waldorf School, and began his teaching career at the Santa Fe Waldorf School in 2005.
Holding a Waldorf teacher’s certification in High School Math and Science from the Center for Anthroposophy in Wilton, NH, Matthew is also the host of the podcast "Hard Beeswax: Experiences in Waldorf Education." Additionally, he is a certified rafting guide, swiftwater first responder, and lifeguard. Prior to his teaching career, Matthew served as a Peace Corps Environmental Education volunteer in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, NM.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys beekeeping, waters ports, and spending time with his wife, Christine, and their son, Oliver, embracing life’s adventures together.
