Kirsten Archibald (she/her)
Upper School Student Life Administrator and High School Humanities Teacher

Kirsten was born in Germany and spent most of her youth living in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. She acquired a degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Cornell University and has worked for a number of different nonprofit organizations. Kirsten discovered Waldorf Education when looking for a suitable school for her autistic firstborn. She completed her training as a class teacher through Antioch University and apprenticed in the high school at High Mowing School for a year. She has taught German, fifth grade and high school humanities classes in three different schools and is thrilled to join GWCS to teach English and History. In her spare time, Kirsten likes to travel, knit, garden, read and go for walks.
